Theta Delta Chi reflects the diversity of Berkeley, as we have brothers from a wide variety of backgrounds who all have different interests and personalities.

At Theta Delt, we strive for excellence in school. We have many brothers with engineering and technical majors, and high GPAs. We also have brothers and alumni working at many amazing companies:

Autism Spectrum Disorder is one of the fastest-growing developmental disorders in the United States with 1 in 68 children being affected. Because of this, the brothers of Theta Delta Chi are partnered with Autism Speaks U® in order to raise funds for Autism research as well as increasing awareness about its increasing prevalence and the struggles faced by people on the spectrum. April is Autism Awareness Month and in order to increase awareness about Autism spectrum disorder the Theta Delta Chi charge house has decided to “Light it Up Blue” every night for the duration of Autism Awareness Month! The brothers of TDX would also like to extend the invitation to donate and participate in any events benefitting Autism awareness and research.

On the night of October 31st, Zachary Manuel Bradley, a beloved brother of Theta Delta Chi at the Delta Deuteron Charge of UC Berkeley, passed away. Although our time spent with him was far too short, the moments we shared with Zac will leave a profound and lasting impact on each and every one of us.

His passion for the improvement of himself, his brothers, and the brotherhood as a whole was unrivaled. As an aspiring doctor, helping others was always first and foremost in his mind, and he worked tirelessly to fulfill that dream of his. A skilled musician and vocalist, Zac constantly filled the halls and rooms of the house with his renditions of “Blackbird” and “Farrah Fawcett Hair,” and his jovial nature and infectious smile never failed to brighten even the gloomiest of days.

While we can never replace the light and unconditional love that he brought into our lives, what we can do now is strive to honor the benevolence, passion, and love of life that so uniquely defined who Zac was.

Theta Delta Chi had our spring philanthropy event today- Giant Jenga! Congratulations to UC Berkeley Kappa Alpha Theta for placing first and also to UC Berkeley Delta Gamma for a close second!

Thank you to Kappa Kappa Gamma at UC Berkeley, UC Berkeley Alpha Omicron Pi and Gamma Phi Beta: Eta Chapter for also participating!

Theta Delta Chi, UC Berkeley co-hosted a 5K Run/Walk with Autism Speaks U at UC Berkeley this past Saturday. We raised over $4000 for Autism Speaks! Thanks to all the brothers who ran and volunteered as well as everyone in Autism Speaks U for making this run happen!
