‼️ What a special message from Zach to the class of 2021
Thank you Zach for being such an excellent resource throughout our schooling! We were with you from the start!
Congratz class of 2021!!! We did it!!!
This weekend assistant professor Jeremey Carter gave a lecture at DiversityCRNA on some of the basics of anesthesia pharmacology. This is gave ICU nurses a glimpse into how tough CRNA school can be.
Proud of our faculty who choose to give back in a good way!
As always, thanks for sharing !

From Tiffany:⠀

“My name is Tiffany Song. I was born in South Korea and first came to the states when I was in kindergarten. I was raised in a military family so we moved around a lot. I love spending time with my family and our dogs, traveling, hiking, trying new restaurants, and crafting/DIY projects. My husband and I had to move to Oklahoma for his pilot training with the USAF, so I changed my career plan to nursing and got my BSN there. I moved out to CA as soon as I got my BSN (my husband had already moved out to be at Travis AFB) and worked for a little over a year in a cardiothoracic stepdown unit, then over 3 years in a mixed adult ICU. I had no idea this profession even existed until I first encountered a CRNA during my OR rotation in nursing school. I was meant to be shadowing the circulating nurse, but I ended up spending a lot of time chatting with the CRNA; needless to say, she made an immediate impression on me with her knowledge base, calm disposition, kindness, and humility. I aspire to be a strong anesthesia provider someday myself and inspire future generations of nurse anesthetists”⠀
