As we approach the end of our school year, here is a glimpse of what’s been happening…

Yesterday, our sixth-grade class visited the Asian Art Museum to help bring our final project on ancient China to life. We explored exhibits on different Chinese dynasties and got to see real artifacts, artwork, and tools from the time periods we’ve been studying. It was exciting to connect what we’ve learned in class to actual historical objects, and it helped us better understand how people lived and how these dynasties shaped China’s history. #

East Bay School blends project-based learning with social justice travel to shape thinkers who do.

Students biked through the Faubourg Marigny to uncover historical accounts and social justice narratives tied to the area’s complex past. Their journey focused on gathering information about the neighborhood’s long-standing struggles and its role in regional history.
