It was great hearing how analytics actually drives decisions at the world’s largest private aviation operation, from forecasting and optimization to fleet planning, crew assignment, and maintenance. Seeing how Berkeley IEOR training translates into real-world, high-impact work was super inspiring.

And of course, thanks to everyone who came, asked great questions, and made the session so engaging. Can’t wait to see what connections and opportunities come next!

NetJets is visiting the Master of Analytics program for an on-campus visit on February 9th to share how analytics drives decision-making in private aviation ✈️📊

The session will be led by Janine Farzin, Senior Business Analyst at NetJets and UC Berkeley IEOR alum (B.S. 2000), who will provide an inside look at:

-How analytics supports strategy across fleet planning, demand forecasting, and operations
-The use of forecasting, optimization, and simulation in a highly dynamic global environment
-Career pathways and roles within NetJets’ Business Insights & Analytics team
