Very late on this post but we had a great weekend May 16th and 17th. On May 16th we attended Cacapon State Park’s youth trout derby. It was very well attended and fun was had by all.

May 17th we had our panfish tournament up at Rocky Gap. It was a great time and Captain Norman “Smitty” Smith set a new club record with his kids Eli Wiles (a new angler) and Dylan Beard. 24 lbs of Bluegill

We had a great weekend at the state championship tournament at Summersville, WV. See the first two pictures for the standings from the juniors and high school division. Very proud of all our teams and how well they did. Most importantly we’re all safe after the tournament and back home.

We had our first tournament of the year down at McCoy’s Ferry today. Unfortunately, we had to have a paper tournament since the season is closed in Maryland. He was a good day to get out and practice before we leave for the state championship tournament next weekend. Big congrats to Brady pool who got third place with Everett, Griest and with a 12 incher second goes to Aiden, Mincher and Layton Winneberger with a 16 1/4 incher and first goes to Hunter Cockrell and Dylan Beard with a 17 incher.
