The dictionary defines abandonment as withdrawing protection, support or help. It's the act of deserting, leaving completely and finally.
Abandonment. It can happen anytime - childhood, teen or adult years.
The causes are many. They may include neglect, rejection, betrayal, divorce or death.
Sometimes if we have been abandoned by someone, we then tend to abandon ourselves to cope. Let's get you back to having a beautiful relationship with yourself.

Mental health disorders are like an internal inferno. They’re rarely seen by the general public for what they are. Therefore, people are less apt to offer compassion and support in the same way they would for someone dealing with a physical disorder.
It’s also common for people to either dismiss or blame what they don’t understand.
When you combine the lack of support and understanding with the internal suffering they’re already experiencing, their quality of life suffers even more deeply.
There are many organizations, professionals, and services, though, that can offer help. If you or someone you know is suffering, please seek professional help.
Be there. Listen. Love them.
