🔵🟠We celebrated some amazing Warriors in this year’s first Warrior Way Cafe to finish up the week before Fall Break! These students lead with kindness and consistently exemplify our Warrior Way by seeking opportunities to be responsible, respectful, ready, and safe. Hard Work Leads to Spooky Rewards! 👻
​Mr. Warren and Mrs. Weiner's Enrichment students have been putting in the work and successfully completed all of their weekly Reading Plus requirements. To celebrate their dedication to reading, they earned some well-deserved creative time in the art studio. Check out these fantastic photos of the group getting hands-on with clay to create their very own ceramic ghosts just in time for the season! 👻

7th grade students in Mrs. Burnett's Media Literacy class wrapped up their Digital Literacy Unit today with an engaging group project! For their final project, each group was assigned a specific digital literacy topic to research and teach to the class. Students became the experts as they created presentations that included important information about their topic, key vocabulary, important facts, and helpful digital tips they can use in their everyday lives.
Students learned the importance of finding reliable articles and trustworthy sources to support their research. They had to evaluate information they found, deteemine what was credible, and then turn their research into a presentation their classmates could learn from.
Throughout the project, students practiced research skills, source evaluation, communication, collaboration, presentation skills, and responsible digital citizenship.
We are so proud of the effort and creativity our 7th graders put into becoming digital literacy experts!

Our 8th graders in Mrs. Burnett's Media Literacy class wrapped up their Dystopian Literature unit with an exciting Dystopian Literature Breakout Game!
Working together, students had tk use their knowledge from the unit to solve puzzles, crack codes, find clues, and complete challenges. It was a great way to review what they had learned while putting their critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills to the test!
