In Loving Memory of Regina Mushabac

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Regina Mushabac, Professor of Cello at Baldwin Wallace for 46 years (1975–2021), who died peacefully on August 6 after many years living with Parkinson's disease. For more than four decades, Regina helped shape and define the BW Conservatory experience for generations of string students. Her devotion as a teacher, mentor, and cellist, paired with her warmth and vibrant, unstoppable spirit, left a lasting mark on our community.

From her family: "She was a devoted wife, mother, teacher, mentor, cellist, and friend who brought warmth, energy, and a fierce love of life to everything she did."

A memorial page has been created where you can read her obituary, share memories and photos, and find details about a day of remembrance in South Burlington, VT on Saturday, August 29. Family, friends, and all who knew Regina are welcome to stop by throughout the day.

The BW Conservatory of Performing Arts mourns the loss of Mary Mondlock ’16. Mary was a bright light in the Conservatory as a music theatre major, and she touched so many hearts during her time on campus. From performing to the classroom to her work in the administrative office, Mary had a bright smile, a kind heart, and a generous spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed by the BW community. Our thoughts are with her family and friends during this difficult time.

Take a trip down memory lane with us on Sunday, August 16th for a video screening of "Family and Friends" featuring Mark Graham, Jim Nolan, John Nolan, Cathie Brenkus, and Bruce Holloway, hosted by Sue Strew. This event marks the 25th anniversary of the beloved Berea Summer Theatre's one-night special! 🎶

Following the viewing, a reception will be held in the Kleist Center lobby, offering an opportunity to reconnect and share memories. Join us for this nostalgic look back at a very special evening💛
