Dear Grow and Learn Families,
We just had our STARS visit and we were able to maintain our 3 stars. The work that our staff have put into making this happen exceeded expectations. Prior to our STARS visit, we have to have a lot of trainings, classroom lesson plans, scheduling, and so much more accomplished. These things must be completed fully before they will schedule their vsit with us. The trainings staff must complete go above and beyond what the state requires. We have to be involved with your children in the classroom, and it has to show because STARS are trained to spot descrepancies. The classrooms that were picked to be observed were the Nursery, Mrs. Rebekah's 2 yr old class, Mrs. Tamara and Ms. Jaiden's PreK, and Ms. Kayla's young afterschool class. Mrs. Sharita did help Ms. Kayla that day. These classrooms were electronically picked by STARS staff. These classrooms shined bright and showed our commitment to providing quality care for your children. Thank you for trusting us to care for your children and allowing them to be a part of our Grow and Learn family. To be honest, I wanted to brag on my staff for being the awesome people that they are.
