The Internship Proposal Deadline is April 15th - but earlier is better to ensure appointment availability and funding by the end of April. If you receive a late offer, we will still work with you through the last day of classes, but your funding may be delayed.

Recently, our Employer Relations Specialist, Eduard Ciobanu, accompanied a group of Berea College students on a visit to JPMorgan Chase’s regional headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Here’s what he had to say about the experience:

“
Incredible experiences like this remind me why I love my job!

I had the privilege of joining a group of bright, career-focused Berea College students from our NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers) chapter on their trip to JPMorgan Chase’s regional headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Representing Berea College and the Office of Internships and Career Development, I witnessed firsthand the enthusiasm and determination of our students as they explored career opportunities in the finance and tech sectors.

We received an amazing welcome from JPMorgan Chase’s Early Career team, including Julian Jordan, Spirit Council Del Col, Filmon Abraha, and Precious Famule, along with our incredible Berea alumnus Darian Sanders. It was inspiring to learn more about JPMorgan Chase’s history, career pathways, and the impactful work happening at the Columbus office.

A huge thank you to Mostapha for your proactive leadership in organizing this trip for NSBE Berea, and to the JPMorgan Chase team for hosting us so warmly. Berea College students never cease to impress me, and experiences like this only reinforce that belief!

DON’T FORGET: The Internship Prep Course deadline is Saturday (tomorrow!), February 15th - the course must be *completed* by then, so if you’re not enrolled yet, call 859.985.3656 or email [email protected] and get enrolled before 4:00 pm today! Blue doesn’t want *YOU* to be blue😭 for missing out on participating in an internship if you forget about the deadline! You must complete this Prep Course every year, even if you’ve done it before - some information is updated from year to year!

Meet Nutsa, Maree, and Zac! While we’re sad to see Zac leave, we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate his graduation and the start of this exciting new chapter in his life. Of course, he kept the tradition alive by signing the Chair!

Don’t forget - this year’s Internship Prep Course is now live! To be eligible to participate in an internship for Summer 2025, you need to complete these steps on or before February 15th, 2025 (even if you did last year’s Prep Course).
