What an incredible week for three of our outstanding Cadets!

Cadets Mayo, Mink, and Sheffield were selected to attend this year's Camp Davy Crockett Joint Cadet Leadership Challenge, where they spent five action-packed days building leadership skills, confidence, and lifelong memories.

Throughout the week, they participated in wilderness survival training, kayak and canoe water safety, orienteering, archery and air rifle safety and marksmanship, rappelling, zip lines, rock climbing, and a challenging high ropes course. Along the way, they met new friends, conquered fears, pushed themselves outside their comfort zones, and embraced every opportunity for growth.

We are proud of these young leaders for representing our program so well and for their willingness to learn, grow, and lead. Congratulations to Cadets Mayo, Mink, and Sheffield on a successful and memorable week at Camp Davy Crockett!

KY-20002 had it's change of command last night. Cadet Colonel Savannah Carr relinquished command to Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Aydah Martin, presided over by Master Sergeant Gossett. C /Col. Carr's dedication and leadership will be missed. C/Col. Martin promises to bring a new vision and direction to the Group.

So very proud of our marksmanship team! With only 3 more competitions remaining this season, their performance continues to improve. Grant Riley, May Mays, Trinity Smith and Scarlett Corrigan all set new personal best scores. Almost all of our athletes have doubled their beginning of the year scores. Our marksmanship team had the opportunity to travel across the state to the Kentucky State Air Rifle Championships in Henderson County. The team took 20th in the shorter division, and Trinity Smith took 89th, May Mays took 82nd, Grady Hunsucker placed 73rd, and Grant Riley captured 68th. The team consists of 3 freshmen and 1 sophomore, making these results even more impressive. Congratulations!
