πŸ—“οΈ Mark your calendars for the first annual Jane Goodall Day this April 3rd!

On what would've been Jane Goodall's 92nd birthday, let's come together and celebrate the incomparable Jane by doing something she believed in: taking action, big or small, to benefit people, animals, and our shared environment. This could mean picking up trash in your neighborhood, choosing a plant-based diet for the day, or opting to commute by bike or by foot. Jane often reminded us that small, individual actions add up to a big impact β€” and we can think of no better way to honor this icon than by taking collective action in her name.

Would you like to join JGI for our inaugural Jane Goodall Day? Here's your April 3rd checklist:
🌱 Pick an action that is meaningful to you, and that benefits either people, animals, or the environment
🀝 Share your experience β€” and what Jane means to you β€” with the hashtag to inspire others to take action
πŸ’š Consider donating to the Jane Goodall Institute to ensure Jane's legacy continues for decades to come. In honor of Jane Goodall Day, donations made between now and April 3rd will be matched up to $300,000!

As Jane said so wisely: "Every single one of us has a role to play, and every single one of us can make a difference." Let's show her that her legacy continues through us all πŸ’š

🐒 Meet Emiliana Fuger β€” 9 years old, published author, and sea turtle superhero!

When this fourth grader couldn't find a children's book about sea turtle anatomy for her science fair project, she didn't give up. She picked up college textbooks, partnered with marine biologists, and wrote one herself.

Her book, Anatomy Under the Sea: The Adventures of Luna the Loggerhead, is now permanently housed in the Library of Congress β€” where kids for generations to come can learn about sea turtle conservation and science. πŸŒŠπŸ“š

We love seeing young minds make waves. 🌟
