The Huskies came to race last night at the Under the Lights Invitational in Grand Rapids.

It was a night of lights, fireworks, music, and great competition!
Both teams raced in the Twilight division which was a mix of D2-3-4 schools.
Each race had 32 teams and around 300 runners.
The girls finished 3rd and boys 6th.

Other strong lifetime best performances came from Levi Torongo (98th) 19:30 and Arthur Lopes 24:47 (5 min PR). Special note for Sarah Heuser for finishing her first 5k and with a strong Benzie Sprint at the end!
Shout out to Jasper Henry and Eagon Chandler for finishing their late afternoon soccer game and driving an hour to be with their team and run varsity at the cross meet. Tough kids!
Thank you to all of the parents who made the trip and those camping for the weekend as well. Now on to more fun in Grand Haven and then some camping and beach fun tonight.
