Grow Benzie Founded in 2007, Grow Benzie is a non-profit community center located in rural Benzie County.

Grow Benzie incubates prosperity by providing affordable, mission-driven services and physical infrastructure to help local nonprofits, entrepreneurs, and small businesses thrive. Formerly a commercial nursery with three 5,000 sqft hoophouses, a 3,200 sqft ranch house, and a 6,500 sqft retail building- we now have dozens of partners utilizing our campus for year-round public events: potlucks and

concerts, classes and workshops including gardening (in our hoop houses), culinary and nutrition (in our commercial kitchen), sewing and knitting (in our sewing studio), and a weekly farmers market (in our community center and picnic area).

Help us solve a little piece of local history!

These chalkboards have been part of Grow Benzie for years, serving as storage dividers and even supporting our Farmers Market when we had it.

They were here during the Chippewa Farms days, before Grow Benzie called this property home.

Some people have even suggested they originally came from a local elementary
school—but we don’t know for sure.

That’s where you come in!

From an incubator kitchen... to a thriving storefront.

Nate Lane started R&B Kitchen as a food truck using Grow Benzie’s Incubator Kitchen.

Today, R&B Kitchen has a brick-and-mortar location in downtown Beulah, serving up fresh, flavorful meals inspired by Nate’s love for food and music.

We’re grateful to have been a small part of the journey and can’t wait to see what’s next.

Come Cool Off at Grow Benzie’s Event Center.

In coordination with Benzie Senior Resources on Wednesday, July 1st, from 10:00am - 4:00pm, Grow Benzie’s Event Center will be open to the community as a Cooling Center.

It is going to be a hot one, so if you need a place to beat the heat, come to Grow Benzie at 5885 Frankfort Hwy, Benzonia, MI.

There will be chairs, tables, restrooms and free Wifi.

We want to make sure our community is safe!
