A cradle to career educational network that, through diverse community leadership support, builds county wide systems to provide children, parents and adults with educational supports from birth through college and career. Our focus, our mission is to connect children/students and parents with information and tools needed to learn about educational and/or career. We do this in an effort to develop and grow a competitive local workforce and build a vibrant local economy.

FASFA is the "on ramp" for ANYONE who may take classes toward a certificate (like in the construction trades, or welding or automotive careers) or those seeking an associates or bachelor degree. High student may contact their school counselor for more information. Adults considering expanding their education credentials may contact their local community college or university financial aid office.

Getting additional education after high school remains the best path to economic security and a healthy Michigan economy. It does not have to be "college" (in the traditional sense). It can be enrolling in a certificate program or becoming an apprentice.

It all starts with students understanding their options. BEST Benzie County is join our statewide organization, the Michigan College Access Network, who seek educational equity and helping underserved students reach their full potential.

Those who support high school students across the state are encouraged to participate in Day. On Sept. 17, schools, staff, family members - and community members can show their support by wearing gear from their alma maters and sharing why they believe students should apply to college.

Meet Up and Eat Up - BEGINS TODAY!

ALL meals will be Grab & Go service only with multiple days handed out at one time. Students do not need to be present to receive their meals. Any person is able to pick up for the student. Participation is key to these programs. We look forward to seeing you soon.
