Mrs. Lamp’s 1st grade Otters have been learning all about fables and the important lessons hidden inside these classic stories.

To show their understanding, students used puppets to retell The Fox and the Grapes and The Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing. 🎭 They practiced sequencing events, identifying characters, and bringing each story to life with their own creative performances!

We love seeing our Otters learn, create, and have fun with reading! 📖✨

🥚🦦 Cracking the Case of Humpty Dumpty!

Our kindergarten Otters are wrapping up their Nursery Rhymes unit with a deep dive into the classic tale of Humpty Dumpty! They explored the traditional nursery rhyme and compared it to Dan Santat’s After the Fall, making connections between the two stories. 📚

To put their learning into action, our little Otters became scientists for the day! 🔬🥚 They investigated, tested, and experimented with different egg drops to see what would happen.

Learning through stories, science, and a little bit of trial and error—what an OTTERLY egg-cellent way to finish the unit! 🦦✨

🦦✖️ Multiplication is more fun when you can move!

Mrs. Sandvos’s 3rd grade Otters got creative with multiplication by using chairs and classmates to build arrays! Students worked together to see how rows and columns connect to multiplication and turned their classroom into a hands-on math adventure. 📚✨
