Ms. Anderson’s Science classes recently put their thinking skills to the test during a hands-on lab focused on Sensemaking in Measuring Mass!

Through observation, investigation, and discussion, students explored how scientists measure mass and used evidence to make sense of their results. Hands-on learning gives our scholars the opportunity to ask questions, test ideas, and deepen their understanding of the world around them!

We are excited to announce that a school tour will be offered tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1st at 8:30 AM. This is a wonderful opportunity to see our classrooms in action, learn more about our classical curriculum, and experience the culture that makes our school unique.

Miss Perry’s 6th Grade Latin Club got creative while bringing a little piece of Ancient Rome to life! 🏛️✨ Students designed their own Roman-inspired mosaics using beans and glue, putting a fun, hands-on twist on their study of the ancient world.

From careful patterns to creative designs, these students showed that learning about history and culture can be both educational and a lot of fun! We love seeing our Spartans get creative while connecting classroom learning to the world of Ancient Rome. 👏

Mrs. Lewis’ Kindergarten class took their science learning outdoors as they explored nature firsthand! 🌳🐞🌱

Our young scientists observed the world around them, asked questions, and discovered the incredible details found right outside our classroom doors. What better way to learn about nature than to get out there and explore it?

🔢 When Learning Jumps Off the Page! 🐸

Who says math has to stay in the classroom? Our first graders took their learning to recess and turned counting practice into a game of hopscotch! 🎉

As they jumped from number to number, they were putting their counting skills into action while having a little fun along the way. From counting each jump to recognizing numbers, these Spartans showed us that learning can happen anywhere—even on the playground! 💙🤍

We love seeing our students make connections, practice what they’ve learned, and turn everyday moments into opportunities to grow.

Join us tomorrow, Thursday, August 26th at 6:00 p.m. in the Middle School Building Cafeteria for an informational presentation about an incredible once-in-a-lifetime student trip to Washington, D.C., and Williamsburg this summer!

Imagine your student stepping into history at Colonial Williamsburg—a living museum where history comes alive! Students will have the opportunity to experience the sights, stories, people, and traditions of the past while exploring historic buildings and learning through hands-on experiences.

🍦🎉 A Sweet Start to the School Year!🎉🍦

Last Friday night, our middle school students kicked off the school year with an evening full of ice cream, laughter, and fun at our Middle School Ice Cream Social!

It was the perfect opportunity for students to celebrate the start of a new school year, reconnect with old friends, meet new classmates, and enjoy some time together outside the classroom. From sharing laughs to making memories over ice cream, it was wonderful to see our students building friendships and enjoying being part of the Founders family. 💙

We’re so glad our Spartans had such a fun night—and we’re looking forward to all the friendships, memories, and adventures this school year will bring!
