Congratulations to Blair A. '33 for being recognized in the 65th annual Young Arkansas Artists exhibition at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts!

Blair’s scratchboard piece, “Splash-tastic Otters,” was named a “Best in Class” work for Grade 5 and is currently on display at the museum through July 26.

We are proud to see Blair’s creativity, craftsmanship, and love for the natural world recognized alongside student artists from across Arkansas.

Week one of Intensives is in the books.

Over the past week, Middle and Upper School students immersed themselves in experiences like A Civil Rights Tour of the South, Thaden Shark Tank, Nature Journaling, Neuroscience of Fashion, Stories in Motion, and many other Intensive course offerings.

Intensives are a uniquely special part of the Thaden experience—two weeks dedicated to diving deeply into subjects, passions, and real-world experiences in ways that are immersive, interdisciplinary, and unforgettable.

We can't wait for Lower School Intensives to begin next week.

Beginning this fall, Thaden School will become the new home for several beloved after-school performing arts programs previously offered through Ovations+, including the Arkansas Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and Trike Theatre, while also expanding opportunities through a new partnership with NWA Ballet Theatre.

Through the Thaden Community Performing Arts Program, students in Grades K-12 across the NWA region will have access to orchestra, theater, and movement classes led by professionals of their craft and many of the same exceptional instructors families already know and trust.

Experiences like the Grade 8 capstone trip, where learning extends beyond the classroom and into the world, are a defining part of a Thaden education.
