Going somewhere this holiday season? Stay safe when travelling during winter weather:

๐Ÿš— Fill the vehicleโ€™s gas tank, and clean the lights and windows to help with visibility.

๐Ÿš— Share the details of your route, departure time, and estimated arrival time with someone.

๐Ÿš— Donโ€™t follow other vehicles too closely. Sudden stops are difficult on wet and icy roadways.

๐Ÿš— Donโ€™t use cruise control when driving in winter weather.

๐Ÿš— Avoid distractions such as your cell phone.

๐Ÿš— Know that ramps, bridges, and overpasses will freeze before roadways.

๐Ÿš— Donโ€™t use electrical components (like your headlights) unless the engine is running.
