On Friday, October 2nd, the LIFE Mentor Team embarked on an unexpected expedition, one that none of them knew would become a memory they would carry with them for years to come.
It all began like any other Friday morning. The Mentors arrived for their usual meeting, ready to begin the day. But something was different. Juanita, Maria, and Miguel were nowhere to be found.
“Where could they have gone?” the team wondered.
Little did they know, the day ahead was anything but ordinary.
That morning, the Mentor Team discovered that they had been given special missions, missions that would challenge them, bring them closer together, and remind them of what it truly meant to be a team. Their first mission took them to some hardworking heroes: local firefighters. With boxes of doughnuts in hand, the Mentors arrived ready to show their appreciation and brighten the firefighters’ day.
