The Book Bus runs tonight, starting at 5:30 in the First Baptist Bentonville parking lot and ending at the TJLA/SCAA bus lot at 7:00. We'd love to see you at one of the stops.

Tomorrow night is our Book Bus Kickoff and we can't wait to hear how your summer break is going! Come join us at the Sugar Creek playground - grab a book (or two) and a popsicle!
We'll run the bus every Wednesday in June and July.

Today we celebrated 2nd graders who did amazing on their ATLAS literacy assessment! Way to go, Ms. Lee's Class! We loved getting to ring the bell with you!

Yesterday we celebrated a HUGE accomplishment in Ms. Bobbitt's first grade class - every student scored proficient or above on their end of year ATLAS assessment in literacy!!! The smiles say it all! Way to go, Ms. Bobbitt's class; each of you will do amazing things as you continue to learn and lead!

Please take a look at the Lost and Found and let us know if you recognize anything. If you see something that belongs to your student, please leave a comment in the photos and we will get it delivered to their classroom. Items will be donated after school on 5/27.

This week, we proudly celebrated our first-ever Servant Leader Week at TJ. This is the beginning of what we hope will become a meaningful annual tradition in our school community.
Our students learned that leadership is not about a title, but about serving others through kindness, responsibility, and action. As part of our mission to serve our community, we are committed to growing students who lead with compassion, character, and purpose.
We are proud of the way our students continue to live out our core values of Initiative, Integrity, and Service each day.
Special shout out to our leadership photography team who captured several of the photos in this video for us!
4th Grade: Restock the little pantry close to TJ to support local families
3rd Grade: Deliver May flowers & door hangers with kind notes to neighbors. Pick up trash on the roads near TJLA.
2nd Grade: Spend time with and read to students at Tennie Russell Primary & Excellent Beginnings
1st Grade: Make care packages with AR Children’s Hospital. Decorate the sidewalks and deliver cards to the Bentonville admin building.
Kindergarten: Visit a retirement center and spread joy and encouragement by playing Bingo with the residents there.

Last week we had the opportunity to celebrate our own Nurse Tori!
The care, compassion, and support she provides to our students and staff each day is top notch. From helping students feel better to offering comfort, encouragement, and a calm presence during busy days, her impact is felt throughout our school.
Thank you for the countless ways you care for our school community and for always putting students first. We are grateful for all you do! 💙
