• NWACC Blvd. will be closed 4-6 p.m. from Water Tower Rd. to SE Eagle Way.

• During this time, traffic will be rerouted to SE Eagle Way and through the Burns Hall parking lots.

• If you have classes at CHP, you will still be allowed to access the main parking lot, but you will need to enter using SE Eagle Way.

• Please use extra caution while driving on campus. There will be increased pedestrian traffic, including runners, spectators and event participants moving throughout the area.

Please plan accordingly and allow a little extra time when arriving or leaving campus.

NWACC will be hosting a cross-country event and the Counseling & Wellness Community Run on campus Tuesday, Sept. 1. We appreciate your patience and assistance as we accommodate the event and the temporary changes to traffic flow.

From Chile to Certified Project Manager: Celebrating Nico! 🌟

When Nico gave up his career in Chile to support his wife’s career move to the U.S., he brought a sweet temperament, an amazing smile, and a determination to succeed! 😊👏

Nico joined NWACC Adult Education to build his future step-by-step:
• 🎓 April 2025: Completed the ELL (English for Language Learners) program.
• 📈 October 2025: Completed both WAGE Level 1 and Level 2.
• 📊 May 2026: Earned his CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) credential!

Coming from a business background in Chile, Nico had to learn the specialized "language" of Project Management while mastering English—essentially learning a third language! But through pure perseverance and dedication, he conquered every obstacle.

Nico, we are so incredibly proud of you and can’t wait to see where your project management career takes you! 🎉💼✨
