🎃🚌 Our Kindergarteners' FIRST Field Trip! 🚌🎃

We aren't sure what was more exciting for our kindergarteners… their very first school bus ride or the pumpkin patch itself! 😂🧡

From jumping on hay and playing in corn to enjoying a fun hayride, our little Wildcats had a morning full of fall adventures! 🍂🌽

Sometimes the simplest things make the BIGGEST memories, and we're pretty sure that first bus ride was just as magical as the pumpkin patch! 🚌❤️

🎳 Subtraction + Bowling = The BEST Math Lesson! 🎳

Our 1st graders traded pencils for bowling balls on Friday and took their math lesson to the lanes! 🎉

They’ve been learning subtraction within 10… and bowling pins just happen to make the PERFECT subtraction problem! Start with 10, knock some down, and figure out how many are left! ➖🎳

The kids had an absolute BLAST putting their math skills to work while cheering on their friends and knocking down some pins! Who knew subtraction could be this much fun?! 🤩

We’re pretty sure this is one math lesson they won’t forget! ❤️🐾

🌧️🎉 Rain may have canceled our Homecoming Parade… but it definitely didn’t cancel our Wildcat spirit! ❤️🐾

Our Student Council worked SO hard preparing for the parade, and we were so sad that the weather didn’t cooperate. So, we decided to make the best of it and have a little pretend parade of our own! 🎈🥳📣

After all, this year’s theme is “All in This Together” — and our Wildcats proved that no matter what gets thrown our way, we can still show up, have fun, and make some great memories TOGETHER! ❤️🤝

It may not have been the parade we planned, but it was still a pretty great day to be a Wildcat! 🐾✨

📚🍪 Welcome to the 4th Grade Book Bistro! 🍪📚

On Shine Day, our 4th graders got to “taste” a variety of book genres to see if they could discover a new favorite! 📖✨

With snacks to enjoy and books to discuss, students gathered around their tables with special guests and shared what they were reading. It was the perfect recipe for great conversations, new recommendations, and a little literary adventure! 🥨📚💬

Students left with full bellies, great conversations, and a few new books they just might want to try! ❤️

Who knows…there may be a new favorite book waiting on the menu! 📚🍽️✨

🌟 Shoutout to our AMAZING Activity Team! 🌟

Every day, our Wildcats get the chance to step outside their regular classroom and learn, create, move, explore, and discover something new! ❤️🐾

Throughout the week, students visit Library/STEM 📚🔬, PE 🏃, Music 🎶, Art 🎨, and Digital Literacy 💻—returning to each class every week and building skills along the way.

Activity classes are about so much more than a change of scenery. They give kids opportunities to discover new talents, interests, passions, and even dreams for their future! ✨ And our incredible Activity teachers get to know and love students from all across our school.

Of course, most Wildcats have a FAVORITE Activity class! 😉 Ask your child which one they look forward to the most each week—we bet they’ll have an answer! ❤️

We are so thankful for our Activity Team and all the fun, creativity, movement, music, technology, and learning they bring to Elm Tree every single day! 🌟🐾

🍿✨ Learning is POPPING in Ms. Palmer’s kindergarten class! ✨🍿

On Shine Bright Day, all of our Wildcats received a special popcorn treat—but Ms. Palmer’s class turned their snack into a learning opportunity! ❤️

They used their popcorn to explore and talk about the 5 senses—sight, smell, touch, taste, and hearing! 👀👃👂✋👅

What a fun way to mix a special treat with hands-on learning! We love seeing our Wildcats learn everywhere—even during snack time! 🍿⭐

Our 3rd graders took their science learning out of the classroom and onto the bowling lanes! They got to see FORCE in action as they rolled, pushed, crashed, and knocked down those pins! 💥🎳

Who knew learning about science could be this much fun?! 🤩 A perfect day of learning, laughing, and STRIKES! 🎉

We are SO incredibly proud to share that Elm Tree has been recognized as an Arkansas GEM School! 🎉👏

The Arkansas Gem Schools Recognition Program celebrates schools demonstrating outstanding results for students in academic achievement, academic growth, and sustained improvement. These recognitions are earned through state accountability data—and this one belongs to our entire Wildcat family! 🐾💎

Today, we got to celebrate the AMAZING teachers and staff who pour their hearts into our students every single day. ❤️ The planning. The teaching. The small groups. The encouragement. The extra time. The high expectations. The love. The teamwork. It ALL matters—and today we got to celebrate the incredible results of that hard work! 🎉

And of course, we couldn't be prouder of our Wildcats! Our students show up, work hard, grow, learn, and keep shining. 🌟
