Coach Roughley is beginning his 27th year in Bentonville Schools. He is returning to LJHS and we couldn’t be more happy. He’ll be teaching PE, coaching 8th grade football, and 7th grade girls' basketball. A few facts about coach are he’s an avid reader, and attempts to enjoy working out in order to stay healthy. He and his wife, Crissy, have been married for 24 years and have 3 kids. Welcome home coach!

Mr. Matlock is entering his 15th year in education, mostly as a special education teacher and coach. Prior to moving to NWA, he lived in Oregon and was a special educational lead teacher. He has had coaching experience with both baseball and football. Prior to teaching he was a behavior specialist in Alaska. We are pleased to have Mr. Matlock join our LJHS team.

Mrs. Fuller is a Colorado native who has called Arkansas her home for the last 13 years. Mrs. Fuller studied wildlife biology for her undergraduate and master's degrees, but through an awesome opportunity, made her way into teaching 10 years ago and has never looked back!

Mrs. Fuller has been teaching 5th and 6th grade math at Old High Middle School for the last five years and is super excited to bring her love for math and her passion to see all students succeed to the 7th grade math team at LJHS. Go Leopards!

The State Civics Bee was this past month and we couldn’t be more proud of Hudson Semmingson (6th place) and Eli Dunahoo (7th place). Both were state finalists. Our very own, Maddie Stokes, this past year’s state winner, was a special guest presenter as well.
