📖Meet Coach Sophia 🥋
Coach Sophia started as a student around Covid at our Rogers/Pleasant Grove location and has been a rockstar ever since 🌟
Training with us through Covid is a big feat and it really shows with Coach Sophia. She has climbed the ranks and has gone through multiple tests to receive her Inferno 1st Degree Junior Black Belt and now paints her fingernails black💅🏻 to remind herself that she can get through anything. She's coming up soon on her Senior Black Belt and we can't wait to cheer her on!
🥋Although her black belt is a major part of her Inferno career, she has found a major love for Jiu Jitsu. She's gone through kids ranks and is now rocking her Adult Blue Belt while hitting scissor sweeps and omoplatas.
Since coaching with us, Coach Sophia has found that she loves empowering the kids and being a major role model for all of the girls in class so much so that some of the teen girls paint their nails black with her to know they can do anything too. Recently, Rogers has started a 3 and 4 year old age class and she says it's one of her favorite parts of her day! Keep your hands up during kickboxing though because she carries around a red foam sword and will hit you to the beat of any song off of the Twenty-One Pilots Blurryface album. She may seem sweet but crazy in class but she's actually super chill. If you ever see her outside the gym, it's probably with her nose in a really good book 📖
We love having Sophia as a coach! She brings the can-do attitude every time 💪

You can go to any of the 5 locations. Grab a 6am class or jump into a day class or hit the night classes, regardless you will have a great time with great training partners!

Kids Jiu Jitsu Program details

Our kids train brazilian jiu jitsu to learn how to defend themselves on the ground. They will learn takedowns, submissions, sweeps and even how to compete in competitions! The kids have a great time during free roll and learn how to be great partners.
