Blog post: THE REAL VALUE OF A BUSINESS ANALYST

A business analyst can be valuable to their organization by identifying areas for improvement and helping to implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs. They can also help to identify and evaluate potential new business opportunities and assist in the development of strategies for pursuing them. Additionally, they can serve as a liaison between different departments and stakeholders to ensure that the needs of the business are being met. Ultimately, the role of a business analyst is to help the organization make data-driven decisions that will lead to growth and success.

Data-driven decision making refers to the process of using data and analysis to inform decisions and guide business actions. This process typically involves collecting and analyzing large amounts of data, identifying patterns and insights, and using this information to make strategic decisions. The goal of data-driven decision making is to use data as a objective source of information to make more informed, accurate and effective decisions, rather than relying on intuition, experience, or personal biases. The data can come from internal sources like sales, customer service, or inventory data, and external sources like market research, social media, or economic indicators.
