Tip of the day: Light is an Unconditioned Reinforcer

A kid pushing another kid at 2 years old compared to 16 yrs pushing other kids makes a big difference. Another example 2 yr picking boogers compared 16 yrs old.

Not all behavioral need intervention. A discrepancy analysis keeps us from targeting things that may seem like a behavior excess but are actually expected and age-appropriate.

My favorite thing to do with clients or even with my kiddos is contingency-independent interventions as an antecedent. An example NCR - give breaks without dependent on anything. After an hour of cleaning or homework let's take a break. Is the house clean or homework correct? Not looking at that only that you will get a break in an hour.
But if want 10 dollars for cleaning your room that will be dependent (contingency dependent)
