NWACC’s Honors Program creates a dynamic, student-centered learning environment through small, discussion-based classes—most with fewer than 15 students. Taught by passionate instructors, these courses challenge students to think critically, explore creatively, and connect their learning to real-world issues through hands-on projects, research, and service opportunities.

Honors courses count toward general education requirements and focus on depth, engagement, and collaboration—not extra work. You’ll join a supportive community of curious, motivated students and experience a college education designed to expand your perspective and transform the way you learn.

Please email [email protected] to set up a time to talk about the Honors Program.

From a College Without Walls to Now

Help Shape NWACC’s Alma Mater and Fight Song

What is an Alma Mater? An Alma Mater is a song that reflects the identity, values, and traditions of an institution. It is often reflective and meaningful, connecting students and alumni across generations.

What is a Fight Song? A Fight Song is an energetic, spirited song that brings people together in support of athletics and school pride. It is designed to energize crowds and build a sense of unity and excitement.

Your Input Matters. Your responses will help inform the themes, tone, and messages that these songs should represent. We are especially interested in what feels authentic to the NWACC experience.

Please take a minute or two to fill out the form on the link below.
