Giving Day is coming up, here is a list of what we need for students to learn and reach even further into the community!

On November 27th and 28th, NWACC is participating in , a Global Day of Giving, by holding a 24-hour online fundraising campaign for specific projects focused on student and faculty needs.

This year, our 24-hour campaign will be held from noon Monday, November 27th to noon Tuesday, November 28th.

Funds raised through this effort will benefit:
• Musical Instruments for Student Check Out
• Adult Education GED Tests
• International Student Support Fund
• The Closet for PRIDE Club
• Two Wheelchairs for Health Professions
• Nine E-Sports Gaming Chairs
• Construction Tech Community Fund

Our goal is to raise $20,000 in 24-hours for NWACC students, faculty, and the community.

Dear the Arkansas Native Pollinator Patch at Rogers Heritage High School, You weren’t exactly easy to establish. To start off you were supposed to be somewhere else, a giant field, but that idea was a bit too ambitious, so instead you became realistically manageable. You became my favorite part about going to school in my final months at Heritage, and there was an overwhelming support from the teachers, staff, students, family, friends, and community members to make you happen. From getting connected with pollinator planting experts and receiving donations from local organizations and businesses, the native ecosystem restoration community became evident. Many long hours went into you, from studying your sunlight and soil to 12 hours of working in the sun to put your plants in, and to all my loved ones who’ve come to visit you at some point in your life, your greatest value is patience. May your vitality inspire us all to achieve growth where we can, and not just where we should.
