Some teachers go above and beyond… and some RISE above the waves! Mrs. Emily Harris is definitely one of those teachers!

As a special education teacher, Mrs. Harris has a special gift for recognizing when students need a little extra support, encouragement, or love. But her heart doesn’t stop with her students! She is just as thoughtful and caring when it comes to her colleagues!

Mrs. Harris is ALWAYS willing to go the extra mile to help a student, support a friend, or simply brighten someone’s day. Her kindness, compassion, and willingness to step in wherever she is needed make such a difference at BG!

We are so thankful for you, Mrs. Harris! Keep MAKING WAVES and making BG a better place to learn, grow, and belong!

🌊WAVE MAKER OF THE WEEK! 🌊

We are so excited to share our Wave Maker of the week, Ms. Kim Clark!

Ms. Clark joined the BG staff last year and has been an incredible addition to our team! Ms. Clark is passionate about making sure students are prepared in every grade level! She is especially amazing in the area of math, and has taught many teachers within the school cool new math tricks!

We are so thankful for Ms. Clark's leadership and dedication to ensuring that BG is always growing stronger, and making waves!

Parents and guardians, please join us at our PTO & Title One Meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 5:30 PM in the BG Cafeteria.

This is a great opportunity to connect with our school community, collaborate, and learn how we can continue working together to support the success of our students.
