We provide safe, reliable transportation to and from several Benton schools, along with breakfast in the morning, snacks in the afternoon and plenty of fun before and after the school day. ❤️

🎳 STRIKES, SPARES & A FEW GUTTER BALLS! 🎳

Another favorite AKP Summer Day Camp outing this summer was bowling! We made it to the lanes a couple of times, and the kids had a blast both times!
One of the best parts was watching how excited they got with every turn. Whether the ball went straight into the gutter or knocked down every pin for a STRIKE, there were plenty of cheers, high-fives and smiles! 😂🙌
Some of our kids had their bowling technique down, while others had a style all their own and that made it even more fun to watch! 🎳

I walked into the Pre-K classroom this morning and Hazel called out to me and said “Mrs. Kathleen, I’m going to organize all of these blocks on these shelves. I know how to do it good because the last time I did it by my whole self!”

😂😂 Well, OK Miss Independent! She has apparently promoted herself to Head of Block Organization and would like everyone to know she has experience.

I like her confidence.

Learning is a whole lot more fun when you get to touch EVERYTHING!

Another one of our favorite AKP Summer Day Camp field trips each year is a visit to the Museum of Discovery in Little Rock! ⚡️ 🔬
Our kids always have a blast exploring all of the hands-on exhibits, trying different experiments and discovering how things work. There’s so much to see and do that they hardly realize how much they’re learning along the way! 🧪🔍⚙️
We love watching their curiosity take over as they move from one exhibit to the next.
Field trips like this are exactly what Summer Day Camp is all about. Getting out, exploring new things, learning something along the way and having a whole lot of fun with friends! ❤️
The Museum of Discovery never disappoints, and it continues to be one of our favorite summer traditions!

🏊‍♀️☀️ TUESDAYS WERE SWIM DAYS! ☀️🏊‍♂️

One thing our A Kids Place Summer Day Camp kids could count on every Tuesday this summer was packing their swimsuits and heading out for a day at the pool! 💦
And they LOVED it!
Week after week, we watched them become more comfortable and confident in the water. By our last swim day of the summer, we pretty much had a whole group of fish on our hands! They were pros!
There’s just something about a summer day spent at the pool with your friends. 💙

💦🎯 DUNK DAY at A Kids Place! 🎯💦

We’re still sharing some of our favorite Summer Day Camp memories, and this one definitely had the kids excited! 😂
What’s more fun than a dunking booth on a hot summer day?
Watching Miss Grace and Mr. James getting dunked in it over and over again!🤣💦

We set up a dunking booth and gave every one of our school-age kids a chance to step up, take their best shot at the target, and DUNK Miss Grace and Mr. James!
And judging by the cheering, laughing and very determined throwing…they took their job seriously! 🎯😂
I’m not sure who had more fun- the kids or the adults. 🤣
These are the kinds of simple, silly summer days at A Kids Place that make some of the best memories. ☀️❤️

Thursdays Were Made for Skating!
🛼🛼
If it was Thursday during A Kids Place Summer Day Camp, there was a pretty good chance you could find us at South Street Rollers. ❤️
Roller skating has always been one of our kids’ favorite summer activities, so we made it a regular stop on many Thursdays throughout the summer. And who can blame them? Good music, plenty of friends and lap after lap around the rink. And they always gave the kids a yummy snack and drink! 😋
Some of our kids are skating pros, some kids have never been and spend the summer getting better and better, and some are perfectly happy just trying to stay on their feet! 😂 No matter their skill level, they always have the best time.
We’re so thankful to have a fun local place like South Street Rollers where our kids can get some exercise, make memories with their friends and just enjoy being kids. 💙
Summer Day Camp is all about making memories and our skating Thursdays definitely gave us plenty of them!☀️🛼
More of our summer adventures still to come…we have a LOT of catching up to do! ❤️

We just want to take a moment to tell you that we see you.
We see the early mornings, the packed lunches, the routines, the worry, the encouragement, the endless love, and all of the little things you do every single day that often may go unnoticed.

Being a mother is one of the most important jobs in the world, and we are so thankful for the trust you place in us to care for your children each day. Your children are a reflection of your love, guidance, and dedication, and it is a blessing for us to be a small part of their lives.

Whether your days feel joyful, exhausting, chaotic, or all of the above — please know that what you do matters more than you realize.
We appreciate you, we admire you, and we celebrate you.

As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to an end, we just want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of the sweet families who thought of our staff this week.
From the thoughtful gifts, cards, treats, flowers, snacks, and kind words — every gesture meant so much to each of us. While we weren’t able to get photos of everything that was given, please know how deeply appreciated your kindness and generosity truly were.
Our teachers and staff work hard every day to love, teach, encourage, and care for your children, and being appreciated in return is such a blessing. We are so thankful for the wonderful families that make up our A Kids Place family.
Thank you again for making our staff feel so loved and special this week. ❤️
