ACTORS NEEDED: This is a great opportunity for young adults and children with disabilities to get involved in local community theater!!šŸŽ­

UPDATE ON PENGUIN PROJECT at Playhouse in the Park, 2026: Honk, Jr has been struggling to get artists for its production this year. After speaking with The Penguin Project we have been granted access to use other ages. With that being said, if you are or know a person with a disability between the ages 8-25, and would like to participate in Honk, Jr (The story of the Ugly Ducking) please reach out to [email protected] and ask for information before this Thursday!

Our next community theater production is coming up, and auditions are OPEN to everyone from 2nd grade through adults!
But what exactly is community theater? Itā€™s neighbors, families, and local performers coming together to create something special for our community. You donā€™t have to be a professional actor or have years of experience, just a love for theater and a willingness to be part of the show.
At the Marshall County Arts Center, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience the magic of being on stage. Thatā€™s why community theater is FREE for local actors to participate.
