Jayces service will be Saturday, November 15th at 1:00pm. It will be held at New Life Baptist Church off Samples Rd in Alexander. Procession and reception to follow at Pinecrest Funeral home for those who wish to join. There will also be a visitation on Friday the 14th from 6 to 8 at Pinecrest funeral home.

This will be a celebration of Jayce’s life and love for music. A portion of the Razorback Marching Band will be playing. Some of the past and present Benton High School marching band members will be playing. Also, his drum corps band, The Guardians from Texas reached out wanting to send members from their hornline to play their corps song in honor of Jayce. One of Jayce’s best friends will be playing the piano as well! Jayce loved listening to Jorge play! I can’t think of a better way to honor Jayce than with music. It would be exactly what he would have wanted! 💙

Jayce lost his battle with leukemia yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jayce’s family and friends.

We made it!!! 🎉 Here’s a few reminders for tomorrow…
🐾Senior Breakfast at the Elementary Schools. Look at the flyers in the previous post for times. They are all different. Bring your gown for the elementary walkthrough!
🐾MANDATORY Graduation Practice @ 9:00
at UALR Jack Stephen Center (kids do not have to wear graduation attire, but must be in school dress code for rehearsal)
🐾Graduation night - students have to be there by 5:00 in graduation attire with cap and gown. Traffic is always CRAZY so plan accordingly!! The ceremony starts at 6:00, but try to get there early for parking and walk to the entrance! Clear bag policy!

Senior Awards Ceremony invitations were sent out yesterday. Your child will receive an invitation if they are a member of the National Honors Society, graduating with honors, receiving a college/private/local scholarship or being presented an award.

Senior Awards Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 14th at 6pm in the Butler Auditorium.

🤩🤩🤩Prom is tomorrow night at the Robinson Ballroom in downtown Little Rock. 9:00-11:00
The red carpet…..💃🏼🕺🏻
It will start at exactly 9:00. Students who are being unloaded from a vehicle with a driver will pull up to the sidewalk and unload at the red carpet. Students who park will walk up and form a line on the sidewalk. (There is a parking garage underneath the Double Tree Hotel and Robinson. It costs $10 and takes credit cards only) Parents are encouraged to attend and take pics! It is a big deal. The kids walk down the red carpet while a dj plays music and these sparkling fire tower things are going off. Chaperones will be outside to guide everyone and encourage the kids to walk in. Everyone is usually inside by 9:30. Bring an umbrella! 50% chance of rain.
