Jolly Time Preschool First United Methodist Church Benton, AR Children may be placed on a waiting list at any age by contacting one of the Jolly Time directors.

Jolly Time is a morning preschool program for children ages 3-5 years old, which operates as part of the Child Development Center at First United Methodist Church, Benton, Arkansas. We offer a quality Kindergarten readiness program in a fun and loving environment with an excellent child/ teacher ratio which includes two teachers in each class. Our program includes hands on learning centers where

children explore art, music, science, math,and manipulatives as well as teacher directed activities such as circle time, cooking and field trips. The FUMC Child Development Center also includes The Shepherd's Fold, a full time childcare program and Kids Day Out, a twice weekly program, either of which can be used to extend the preschool morning if desired.

Presenting Class of 2026 Jolly Time Preschool Graduates!

We celebrated this sweet class last week. I can’t wait to see what amazing things this group will accomplish!

The legend, Ms. Liz, officially graduated Jolly Time after 35 years. She will be missed every single day as she enjoys the retirement life! Her title changes from Teacher to the Official Jolly Time Grandma!

As my graduating Senior told me, just because I ignore it doesn’t mean it’s not happening….SO Jolly Time Preschool is officially announcing that Ms. Liz Selby, after THIRTY FIVE wonderful years is retiring! Please help us celebrate her legacy by sending in cards, stories, pictures. Email [email protected] or mail to 200 N Market Street, Benton, AR 72015 preferably by May 13th.

Don’t worry! She is leaving Jolly Time in amazing hands with her replacement, Ms. Danielle Suel. We have prayed for years for the right person and she found us!

Just a little peek at our St. Patrick’s Day fun! We had a visit from those tricky leprechauns who decorated our room with lots of green! We followed clues that led us all over the building and ended in the courtyard where we found a pot of “gold”. A fun day with some pretty special kiddos!
