Hello Ranger Band family!

It's that time of the year again for our annual fundraiser! Please click on the link and it will take you to our online store.

***You find the student you are supporting and can purchase items online! The items will be delivered to the school and the students will deliver them to you.

***Donations are accepted also and can be given directly to a student or turned into the school.

***We are raising funds for end of year trips, purchasing newer school owned instruments, new music, updating practice rooms to provide better sound proofing.***

The Jr. High Band placed 1st in the middle school division at the Mt. Vernon Parade this afternoon. The band looked and sounded great the whole way! Really impressed and proud of their commitment to do the little things right!

What a start to the year it has been!

Our Beginning Band is off and running with 60 new members!! This is just above 50% of the entire 5th grade class.

The Intermediate Band is making some good progress and are finding their way to start the year.

The Junior High Band has been busy! Multiple parades already being 45 members strong, which is the largest it has been in quite some time. The best part is, the quality of the group is showing a lot of promise! The band competes this Saturday at the Mt. Vernon fall festival parade.

Stay tuned for performance updates and opportunities to support these students!

Tomorrow is the day!! The 2026-2027 edition of the BGS Ranger Band begins. Looking forward to getting the year started!

Parents, if you are not in the band app, please private message for details.

Make sure to hydrate today and eat breakfast before coming in the morning!

We had a great week to end our performance year!

Spring concert was Tuesday and all bands performed great! It was really awesome to see how each group came together to perform some great music!

The Junior High had their final parade this past Saturday and did a great job! They made our program proud!

It was also the final performance for our eighth graders! It has been an honor watching them grow as people and musicians the last 4 years! We will miss them when they go to high school!

The junior high band has gotten to work with a couple of fantastic educators this semester!  We got to get some great feedback from retired band director, Jim Childers in March.

Pictured here is band director, Tim Zeiss. He brought great energy and provided good comments to help us on our upcoming performances to close out the year!
