Benton Harbor Area Schools will dismiss early on Thursday, September 3, due to the heat index. High school and middle school will dismiss at 11:00 a.m.; elementary schools will dismiss at 12:00 p.m. Transportation will run on the half-day schedule. Contact your school office with questions.

Opening night was about celebrating Tiger Football—past and present! 🏈🐅

We were proud to welcome back members of the 2015–2018 Benton Harbor Tigers Football Playoff Teams, along with coaches and supporters who helped make those historic seasons possible.

The celebration continued as they joined us in welcoming the 2026 Tigers onto the field to kick off a new season. From reconnecting and sharing memories to cheering on the next generation, it was a special night celebrating the tradition, pride, and future of BH Football. 🧡🖤

We’re excited to welcome our Tigers back for the 2026–2027 school year on Monday, August 31!

Please remember that the first day is a half day for all students. Middle and high school students will be dismissed at 11:00 AM, and elementary students will be dismissed at 12:00 PM.

Families, please plan accordingly for early dismissal and transportation. We’re looking forward to a great start to the new school year!

The Benton Harbor Tigers open the season against Berrien Springs tomorrow night! We are also welcoming back and honoring members of the 2015–2018 Tigers Football Playoff Teams and those who helped make those historic seasons possible with a special recognition at halftime. 🏆
