 🍎 I truly believe that middle school is the perfect time to ignite students' interest in their future and career opportunities. Starting this conversation early is essential! For our Make a Plan Day, we partnered with our feeder high school, West Johnston, to bring in high school students who could mentor upcoming freshmen on choosing classes and exploring exciting opportunities ahead. We also invited local career professionals, who generously volunteered to have one-on-one discussions with our 8th graders, inspiring them with real-world insights. Additionally, representatives from our local State Employees Credit Union shared valuable information on scholarships, loans, and important financial decisions. 🍎
