It's mighty cold and awfully snowy, but summer is coming soon! Please put Saturday, August 8th on your calendar for the class of '81 45th reunion. Yes, you read that right. It's been almost 45 years since we graduated from Fenton! If that weren't enough, and by gosh you'd think it ought to be, we are expanding invitations to the classes of 1980 and 1982. It's at Shoeless Joe's Alehouse in Addison, 7:00 PM until ? Mark your calendars now, and thank us later!

On the morning of 9/11/2001 I did what so many of us do each day, I had my coffee and a little breakfast. I kissed my wife and kids goodbye, hoped that traffic wouldn't be too bad, and headed to work at United Airlines in the Flight Operations division. I'd been with the company 15 years at that point, and I was expecting another typical day at work. So did some 3,000 people who worked in and around the World Trade Center, or had early flights to various desitinations in the country. I was able to go home that night, the others never did. They didn't get to hug their children again, kiss their partner, or say goodbye to any of their family or friends. Please, never forget!
