A message from our field hockey coaches:

Hi Everyone,

Unfortunately, we need to move field hockey tryouts to next week because the field conditions are not yet up to field hockey standards. The grass is currently too high for safe and effective play.

Updated Tryout Schedule

● Monday, September 14, 3:00–5:00 PM
● Tuesday, September 15, 3:00–5:00 PM

Practice Schedule

● September 16–18, 3:00–5:00 PM

Players will be notified Tuesday evening whether they have made the team.

If your daughter was cut from volleyball and would like to try out, or if she has not attended yet, please stop by Room 3 (Ms. Monach’s room) to pick up the necessary forms and team expectations so we can get her ready for tryouts.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Please wear:
● Comfortable athletic clothing
● Sneakers or cleats
● A mouthguard (if you have one)
● Bring plenty of water

We look forward to seeing everyone next week!

Snyder Fall Tryouts begin this week! All tryouts are after school until 5pm unless otherwise noted by the coaches on Schoology.

Snyder t-shirts will be available for sale during "Walk the Halls" for $15. Cash only please!!! If you can't make "Walk the Halls", no worries! We will also sell t-shirts during the first week of school (starting on the 2nd day of school during lunches) - students can purchase a shirt with cash in the Cafeteria during their lunch period. Adult sizes Small - XXL are available.

Just a reminder that our "Walk the Halls" event is scheduled for tomorrow, August 27th from 2:00-5:00 PM. This is an opportunity for students to visit the school, find their classes, open their locker, and meet the Administration. If students would like to leave their supplies in their locker, they are welcome to do so. Paper copies of schedules & locker info will be available.

🍂🏆 Fall Sports Are Almost Here at Snyder! 🦉

The start of a new school year also means the return of Snyder Athletics! Our fall sports season officially opens September 1, and we’re looking forward to seeing our student-athletes back in action.

📢 Tryout dates, times, locations, and other important information will be posted on Schoology and the Snyder page prior to tryouts. Please keep an eye out for those announcements as we get closer to September.

Before a student can participate in tryouts, they must have a complete PIAA sports physical packet on file. Families may submit the completed packet directly to Miss Liese in person or by email, or complete the process online through Arbiter Registration at https://students.arbitersports.com/cecelia-snyder-middle-school .
