We’ve been doing some reorganizing at the Foundation office and created a new little space with a BIG purpose.

Nestled into our 'tree' of support for BPS, "The Giving Nook" is a place where we keep resources ready to help our students and teachers grow. 💙

From classroom and school supplies to winter gear, clothing and other essentials, teachers can stop by to grab something they need for their classroom, while our team can quickly fulfill Student Needs requests as they come in. And with colder weather on the way, it’s the perfect time to have it stocked and ready!

A big THANK YOU to our supporters who make our Student Needs Fund possible. Your generosity allows us to respond quickly when a student needs a little extra support. 🫶

A great example this past weekend of how our new Outdoor Stadium video board is impacting more than just athletics! 🎶

From athletic games and youth sports to marching band, graduation and more, the video board is already elevating the experience for all students across BPS. We loved seeing our marching band take advantage of it to showcase their directors, drum majors and show title! 🎺 🎶💙

Bennington TeamMates has been making some incredible new mentoring matches lately, but we're extra excited to see our very own Board Secretary and Triple B Race event lead Kim Rohe also now become a mentor!

Meet Kim and Alyssa! Introduced earlier this month. Matched based on favorite subjects of: Family Consumer Sciences and PE. Both enjoy Sports and Food! Kim and Alyssa are both described as outgoing, compassionate and adventurous. They look forward to doing crafts and activities, meaningful discussion and dialogue and HAVING FUN!

Another handpicked mentoring recruit! When Alyssa was nominated by a thoughtful teacher, we knew all of her personal attributes could be pretty perfectly matched by an already active member in our community. All it took was one ask and a servant heart filled with purpose. Kim said YES! and we couldn't wait to make their introduction.

This past weekend, 130 Bennington High School alumni came together for our first-ever All-Class Reunion!

A few highlights from an incredible night:
🎓 We were honored to welcome an alum from the Class of 1949!
✈️ Badgers traveled from as far as South Florida, South Carolina and Las Vegas to be there.
🎉 Classes of 1960, 1976 and 2006 used the evening to celebrate their own class reunions.
🧢 Class of 1970 even came prepared with custom class hats!
🏆 We proudly honored Jeremy Havekost, Class of 1996, as our Distinguished Alumni of the Year.

From familiar faces to alumni reconnecting after decades apart, it was pretty special to see so many generations of Badgers together in one room.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We’re already looking forward to doing it again next year!

Cooler temps mean fall fun is officially underway with our All Star Kids Before & After School program! From Q-tip skeletons to other festive crafts and activities, our students are getting into the spirit of the season.

Behind all that fun are our dedicated Site Directors, who thoughtfully plan each week to keep students engaged, creative and excited to see what’s next! 🙌

👀 A new chapter of the BPS Foundation Gala is about to begin… and we’d love for YOU to be part of the story.

We’re looking for volunteers to join our 2027 Gala Committee! Whether you’ve helped in the past or are ready to jump in for the first time, we’d love to have your ideas and creativity at the table.

We keep the time commitment manageable! Just three committee meetings leading up to the big night, plus opportunities to help with smaller tasks along the way.

📅 Committee Meetings: Oct 21 5:30-6:15 | Jan 27 5:30-6:15 | Mar 7 1-3pm
✨ Gala: March 20, 2027
