It was a fun day in the sun! 2 more days, Fifth Grade!

Perfect pool day!

Today was our 5th Grade Museum on Wheels assembly. This interactive presentation brought to life what we have learned in Social Studies about the American Revolution. It’s a long standing and favorite tradition in 5th grade!

Today we got back together with our debate teams to look over the feedback forms our panel members left us. Lots of celebrations and constructive advice.

The Great 5th Grade Debate was a huge success! We are SO proud of our 5th graders and all of the hard work they put into preparing for this event. We received a lot of compliments from our distinguished panel members who were impressed by how professional and prepared our students were. Sounds like we may have even changed some opinions on whether or not cell phones should be allowed in schools.

Hey 5th Grade!

We are in need of help in transporting 5th graders to and from the James Lemos Swim Center for our end of the year pool party on Wednesday, June 3. Drivers take students to and from the pool. We will leave JHE around 9:00 for the pool, and depart the pool at 1:30. We just need drivers to drop off and pick up as the pool party is a student-only event. In order to volunteer you must be able to transport students to AND from the pool.

Please submit the sign up form that was sent home OR contact your child's teacher to volunteer.

*Per BUSD policy, each vehicle must have a 2nd adult passenger present. So we are in need of both drivers AND passengers. All volunteers must be fully cleared as BUSD volunteers. Drivers will also need to provide proof of auto insurance.
