As part of Veterans Week, OSU-Cascades will host a live screening of main campus’ Veterans Center’s su***de prevention presentation on Thursday, November 13th from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. in Obsidian 210.

This session focuses on awareness, early intervention, and practical resources to support veterans and their loved ones.

All are welcome — whether you’re a veteran, friend, ally, or advocate, your presence helps build a stronger, more connected community 🇺🇸

Hosted by the Veterans Resource Center with support from OSU-Cascades’ Katie Mahoney, this event encourages open dialogue and shared responsibility for prevention and care.

Join us Wednesday, November 12th from 4–6 p.m. in Obsidian Hall 207 for a Veterans Reception honoring OSU-Cascades’ veteran students, faculty, and staff 🇺🇸

Enjoy light refreshments (charcuterie, veggie tray, whipped feta dip, tea & lemonade), connect with your fellow student veterans and members of our campus community who have served!

Hosted by the Veterans Resource Center and Student Veterans Club — this is a space to gather, share stories, and recognize the contributions of those who’ve served.

📍 Veterans Resource Center is located in Obsidian Hall (Room 202). To gain access, stop by the mail room to request badge permission. Once approved, your student ID gives you entry to the lounge.
