🎵 NOW HIRING: Summer Camp Music & Singing Teacher in Bend! ☀️🎸

Are you a local musician or music educator looking for a fun, high-paying summer gig? Come share your love of music with energetic campers this summer!

💰 Pay: $30/hour
🗓️ Schedule: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri | 9 AM – 1 PM (Includes a 45-min paid break!)
🗓️ Dates: 8 weeks, June 29 – August 21
🎼 Type: 1099 Independent Contractor

What you’ll do:
Lead fun singing activities and guide awesome groups of kids (ages 5–12) through hands-on instrument rotations including ukuleles, guitar, keyboards, marimbas, and xylophones! 🎹🥁

Requirements:
• Great vocals & ability to lead group singing.
• Basic comfort introducing kids to the instruments listed above.
• Experience working with youth & positive energy!
• Must pass a standard background check.

Community Give Back Day at Parrilla
Thursday, June 11th

Celebrate the last day of school with a meal that gives back! Parrilla is hosting a Community Give Back Day on Thursday, June 11th — 20% of every sale goes straight to Westside Village. Bring the family, skip the dishes, and make your dinner do double duty for the Village. Mark your calendars and spread the word!

WVMS Giveback Night at Bend TEAL (Tea + Art Lounge), Tuesday, May 19th!

Former Westside teacher, Sarah Swoffer, has opened a fabulous new spot downtown Bend called TEAL (Tea + Art Lounge). She invites our community to visit her space where we can slow down, sip intentionally and reconnect with creativity. TEAL will donate 20% of food and beverage sales back to Friends of Westside Village!

Earth Day Blue Bag Give Back!

If you’ve ever considered collecting your refundable cans and bottles for a good cause, now is the time and Friends of Westside Village is your cause! Bottle Drop will give 20% more back to Friends of Westside Village April 15-26. We have blue bags ready to go - come pick one (or a few) up! Drop bags off at school or at a BottleDrop site. Happy Earth Day!
