Rooted in Tradition. Growing in Downtown Bend.

We are thrilled to announce that Chesterton Academy of Mater Dei will officially be moving to Downtown Bend for the 2026–27 school year!

With the encouragement and support of Fr. Victor and Bishop Hennen, as well as official approval from the City and unanimous support from our Board of Directors, we are taking an exciting step forward in the life of our school.

Our new home will allow us to:

✨ Offer daily Mass to our students
✨ Welcome continued enrollment and faculty growth
✨ Establish a dedicated space that reflects the beauty and identity of Chesterton Academy
✨ Strengthen our presence in the heart of Downtown Bend
✨ Provide a central location accessible to families throughout Central Oregon
✨ Create new opportunities for community events, service, and outreach
✨ Foster an even stronger sense of identity, stability, and belonging

This move represents far more than a new building. It is an investment in the future of classical Catholic education in Central Oregon and in the generations of students who will be formed here.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported this vision and look forward to sharing more details soon!

☀️ Summer may be in full swing, but we're already looking forward to another year at Chesterton Academy of Mater Dei!

One of our favorite traditions is the House System, where students build friendships, grow in virtue, and enjoy a little friendly competition throughout the year.
