We are so excited to announce our newest collaboration with .therapies not only for Speech and Language but also for a special weekly music group with one of their amazing SPLs!

Ms. Sam’s Music Circle time is a 6-week series of specialized classes taught by Sam Spaciano, M.S., CCC-SLP taking place at Montessori in the Pines. Sam is a board certified Speech Language Pathologist with 10+ years of experience in speech therapy preschools. She developed this curriculum based on her years of experience as a speech therapist and exceptional musician.

In this program Sam uses her ukulele to guide the class through fun songs and activities while targeting phonological development, pre-literacy skills, vocabulary and grammar development, articulation of speech sounds, turn taking, and auditory processing among other critical developmental skills. Children will learn new songs, use shakers and a variety of instruments, and get up and move in this engaging enrichment program while gaining a strong foundation of communication skills.

And what’s more, they are giving us a special intro rate of just $45/child for the 6-week program. Payment accepted via Venmo (-MITP), cash, or Procare! Let us know ASAP, program begins 2/26, time of day TBD.

Welp, didn’t take many pictures, as we were too busy having a blast! So proud of all our brave little skaters and constantly thankful for this beautiful community we are co-creating with our families. It was a joy to see all our friends old and new, including all our pals at !

The children are able to practice so many skills in this game: they help maneuver the furniture, they practice attention, inhibitory control, moving with grace and control, good sportsmanship, and plus some super cool new tunes.

The children were so kind to one another, saying “don’t worry, you’re not out, you just get to join the teacher’s team!” (Aka spectators)!

Today was one of those days that I love every second of being these kiddos teacher…feeling real lucky to have all these little humans. Plus, it helps someone brought doughnuts for share! 🍩

$20 gets you all your supplies, snacks, and champagne. Payable via Venmo -MITP. Limited to 8 spaces. FCFS.

I cannot believe the calm and concentration that pervaded the classrooms this week. The kiddos truly missed being in the environment, working, and playing with their friends.

The Montessori environment helps children build a sense of order and internal organization that brings on a sense of peace, especially after 2 weeks of holiday chaos! So glad to have these beautiful babes back with us! Happy New Year to all!
