A weekend of Bhakti, singing, chanting, mantra, old friends, new friends and my teachers. I am so grateful for this journey of learning with and the perspective of at
These two are so grounded, steeped in study, inspiring, and sharing from their own authentic selves. And as a reflection I am allowed to be a student who can do the same. I am so grateful and my cup is so full.

As you may know, I am working on a “Kids Yoga Coloring Book” and one of the pages is a mountain scene. I like to think of it as a serene mountain, and mountain that can stand tall and storms, steady under snow, unwavering in Cold nights or hot days.
This mountain page is an inspiration from years of meditation. My four year old made it into a lava volcano (as you can see). If this is not the best metaphor for parenting and teaching kids yoga, I don’t know what is. I made an outline and created the boundaries— then he filled it in in a way I could never have imagined! 🌋❤️
I’m so proud of both of us.

I forgot it was my wedding anniversary today. 🤪😝
Rather than that being a problem, I think it reflects how supportive and in sync my partner and I are. We don’t need to talk everyday when we are apart. We give each other a lot of space. We aren’t as big on singular days of celebration, but celebrating each day in little ways. It wouldn’t work for a lot of others, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
It was a weekend of friends, good dogs, hikes and yoga. My cup is full and I feel grateful
