What a glorious spring of transformation it has been! Our caterpillars have unfolded into butterflies, our worms have grown, our larvae have turned into darkling beetles, and our tadpoles are well on their way to becoming croaking frogs. Meanwhile, our preschoolers have spread their wings, ready to soar into the exciting world of kindergarten.

As we reflect on our journey through the tall, tall grass and the small, small pond, we thank our Beginnings families for another incredible year of growth, exploration, and discovery. May your summer be a bright and beautiful, full of adventure and wonder! 🐞🐛🪲🐸🪱🦋

It's been a whale of a time for the PreK Class! Over the past eight weeks, they dove into three different ocean habitats and met the sea creatures who live there.

Today, they staged a play inspired by Eric Carle's "House for Hermit Crab" that the students wrote themselves! Each student became a sea creature expert, researching their favorite and fielding questions from their grownups. They were total sea sponges, soaking up all that ocean knowledge!

Dive down into the deep blue sea with us!

We’ve spent the last several weeks discovering the sea creatures 🦀🐙 of the rocky shore and the coral reef 🐠🪸 . Next, we study the BIG 🐬🐋🦈 mammals of the ocean before we present our Ocean Play and culmination to our families and our Pre-K marine biologists will present research on their favorite sea creature.

Mission Control, we are GO for launch! We just started the Outer Space Storyline in our PreK class this week. 🌏🚀

We are learning about gravity and astronauts while we launch different types of rockets. These paper and straw rockets were a blast! 👩‍🚀.

Next week, our explorations will be out of this world! 🪐

Registration is now open for our PreK program for the 2025-2026 school year. 🚀

In our PreK class, we use a Storyline curriculum to guide our learning in a Christian based environment. Through dramatic play, stem science, arts integration, weekly cooking and a unique literacy program, our children are prepared to move seamlessly onto Kindergarten the following year. 🎨

Children turning 4 prior to September 1, 2025 are welcome to join our PreK class for a year of creative learning! 🦖

We have fully embraced the Christmas Spirit! We crafted a Gingerbread Treehouse that is now on display at Sunriver Resort’s Gingerbread Junction. We’ve been exploring candy cane and gingerbread science, decorating Christmas trees, and learning the story of the First Christmas. All the scents of Christmas are filling the classroom and we are thrilled for one more week of Christmas cheer before Winter break. 🎄❤️🌟

It’s been a bountiful harvest on the Beginnings Farm! We’ve grown crops, baked with fall produce and learned about both farm and nocturnal animals. Next week, we will celebrate our learning with our Annual Harvest Party.
