Introducing your 2026–2027 Cougar Dance Team! 🪩

After an incredible tryout week, we’re excited to officially announce this year’s roster! We are so proud of every athlete who stepped out of their comfort zone, worked hard and shared their talent with us.

To our new team members: Congratulations! Your dedication, passion and commitment have earned you a place on this team, and we can’t wait to see all that we accomplish together this season.

🐾✨SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨🐾

Hi hello to Harvey Graham! She has been on dance team for three years. Her favorite memory was ice skating her sophomore year during our Christmas get together, and making history with the dance team at competition.
Harvey’s advice to future dancers is to enjoy it all even when it’s hard because it all goes faster than you think and dance makes so many great memories. Her plan is to do trade school for the medical field and then move to Europe to become a writing and filmmaker.

This is Hailey Crum! She has been on the team for 4 years.
Her favorite memory from being on the team was thunderbird dance camp this past summer! She got to learn such fun routines and make such good connections and with the choreographers, other dancers, and the team! Hailey’s advice for future team members is to do it. Do it tired. Do it frustrated. Do it excited. No matter what, do it. The biggest breakthroughs happen when you push through and do it even when you don’t feel like it. She will be attending OSU this fall to study communications in hopes of becoming a sports journalist!

Say hi to Addy Jackson! She has been on the team for 2 years.
Her favorite memory was senior night when all the girls came together to celebrate the seniors and when any of the girls steal your phone and take a bunch of random and hilarious photos on it! Addy’s advice for future dancers is just go for it, try that new skill, go for the double, and push yourself! If you can give 90% you can give 100%. Her plans after college is going to one of the top beauty schools (Aveda Beauty) and specializing in nails and hair extensions. And moving from Oregon to Montana or Colorado to own property and live in the amazing outdoors!

Say hello to Yazmin Flores! She has been on the team for 3 years. Her favorite memory from being on the team over the years is doing words of affirmations with the girls! Her advice for future dancers on the team is to not bring drama into dance. Yazmin’s plans after graduation is to attend Central Oregon Community College for a degree in Small Business and Entrepreneurship, and then attend Cosmetology School!

🐾✨ MVDT SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨🐾

This is Juliana Lee! She has been on the team for all four years.

One of her best memories is late nights at hotels especially State when some of our freshman and sophomores were just cracking us all up.

What being on this team has taught her (and she doesn’t care how cheesy) is to never give up. Even when you fail, get back up again and try even harder to prove your younger self you can do anything.

Juliana’s advice to future dancers is to not let anyone say you aren’t good enough! You are more than enough, and whatever you do, just do your best and that’s enough.

Her plans after graduation is to major in Psychology/Criminal Justice and Minor in Ministry at Southeastern University in Lakeland Florida. After college graduation, Juliana plans to pursue Youth Ministry and help in prisons as a psychologist.

Juliana you are such a BRIGHT light in this world! You brought so much enthusiasm and positivity to every practice and performance. We loved watching you be a captain and leading your team so well. We are so excited to see how far you’ll go, and can’t wait to see you your accomplishments! ❤️

This is Xing Qing Ye! She has been on the team for two years.
Her favorite memory from her time on the dance team is making school history with the team her junior year with her fave girls. Xing Qing’s advice for future dancers coming onto the team is to keep shining, don’t let other people break you down, and don’t lose why you love to dance!

After graduation, Xing Qing plans to attend University of Oregon to major in biology and minor in bioengineering, with hopes of getting into medical school or the pHD program for bioengineering.
