Carrie Mack finishing the Olympic trials marathon!!! 👏🥳👏🥳👏🥳

RESILIENT. That’s 👏🏻 our 👏🏻 woman! 👏🏻 2:42:27, 72nd overall, and in her second fastest time EVER. But these numbers don’t tell the whole story... Four months ago, broke her toe, and a few weeks ago, she still didn’t know if she’d even be able to finish a marathon. She spent the last four months committed to a plan that was week to week, unproven to work, and didn’t guarantee anything, but she bought in and put in the work every single day.

Despite the uncertainty, she beamed her effervescent positive light in practice everyday and it was shining bright in Atlanta at 🤩

Some people ask how I manage to run 80-90 mile weeks, work full-time, and still stay somewhat healthy. The best I can say is that I have a really good team behind me. This is my PT Ellie. She helps to fix my imbalances and also has a way of helping me problem-solve issues on my own (sometimes even my personal life issues). She’s seen me at my worst and at my best. Every time I walk in the doors of I feel blessed to have a someone so talented on my side! Parllette pull throughs - Eight weeks ago, when we started our new gym block, I couldn’t do one of these. I could get the forward motion, but I couldn’t pull back through.
They’re still not perfect, but with practice and some helpful body cues, I can now do all 10!
