Little Learners Preschool Little Learners is a small, eco-healthy, preschool in Bend. We have a ratio of no more than 8 children to one provider.

Formerly Kiddlette Caboose Daycare (a state-registered, in-home program), we first opened our doors in May 2007. Although it may seem like fun and games to preschoolers, the curriculum we follow is packed with educational elements. Games abound that teach pre-reading skills like phonemic awareness and letter and sound recognition; basic math concepts; and hands-on science exploration. We believe t

hat young children learn through play that is child-directed and lead. We spend our days learning through play, artwork and books. We also do preschool activities and handouts on occasion in an easygoing, non-structured way. We will learn, among other things: our colors, numbers, shapes, our names, and our ABC’s, along with some important fine motor skills, which include the proper way to hold a pencil, and how to cut with scissors through age-appropriate activities. Your child will not be pushed to do anything that he/she is not capable of doing; all children will learn these things at their own pace.
